Seaweed necklace
Inspired by rock pools and native seaweeds found on the south coast of NSW, this hand fabricated necklace features textured silver and gold. Fossicking and exploring the tidal pools of the Illawarra and Shoalhaven has provided designer Tamahra plenty of inspiration and this necklace reflects her obsession with the sea. The only one of its kind, the Seaweed necklace is included in the Oceanic series.
Living alongside the coast, loving the ocean, beaches, and the wildlife that inhabit the sea, has highlighted the need for urgent change in the way we use and dispose of plastics. $5 from the sale of each Oceanic series piece will be donated to the Australian Marine Conservation Society in support of their Ocean Plastic Pollution campaign.
