Introducing: Simple Geometry Series
Geometry (from the Ancient Greek: γεωμετρία; geo- "earth", -metron "measurement") is a branch of mathematics concerned with questions of shape, size, the relative position of figures, and the properties of space. Geometry arose independently in a number of early cultures as a practical way of dealing with lengths, areas, and volumes.
Designer Tamahra Prowse says "For me, geometry represents a way of defining the shapes that I see repeated in life and nature. I take pleasure in stripping back these wearable objects to simplified yet precise forms."
The Simple Geometry Series represents a refined aesthetic, one which contrasts with elaborate gem-set and highly detailed jewellery. It offers a sort of visual peace, where the eye can rest and enjoy the simple silhouettes.
