Silver shell pendant with chunky gold bail
Finely detailed cone shell cast in sterling silver and mounted on a heavy 18kt yellow gold sculptural bail. The bail is large enough to accommodate heavy necklaces. This shell was sourced on Lizard Island in Queensland Australia. After a mould was taken of the shell, it was returned to the beach.
Handmade in Australia. Sterling silver, 18kt yellow gold. Measures 25 x 10 x 10 mm.
Pendant is NOT supplied with a chain. Chains can be purchased separately.
Living alongside the coast, loving the ocean, beaches, and the wildlife that inhabit the sea, has highlighted the need for urgent change in the way we use and dispose of plastics. $5 from the sale of each Oceanic series piece will be donated to the Australian Marine Conservation Society in support of their Ocean Plastic Pollution campaign.
